Fiberglass pools are a smart, modern choice for homeowners who want a beautiful pool with faster installation and minimal maintenance. At VR3 Pool Construction, we install premium fiberglass pools designed for long-term durability, comfort, and style.
Fiberglass pools are pre-manufactured shells, which may limit your desired shape, depth or other customer design features. The benefit of these designs we will be installing as a single shell, allowing for significantly quicker installation compared to traditional concrete or vinyl pools—often completed in weeks instead of months.
Many fiberglass pools come with integrated steps, benches, and tanning ledges, offering comfort and functionality without additional construction time or expense.
Most fiberglass pools are manufactured as a single, one-piece shell and delivered to the job site ready for installation. Once the excavation is complete and the base is properly prepared, the pool shell is carefully set into place using a crane or specialized lifting equipment.
Precision Placement
The pool is lifted and lowered directly into the excavated area, allowing for precise positioning and alignment. This method minimizes on-site construction and ensures a consistent, factory-finished shape.
Engineered Base & Leveling
Before the shell is set, a compacted stone base is installed to provide a stable, level foundation. This base helps support the pool evenly and allows for proper drainage.
Plumbing, Backfill & Water Balance
After the pool is set, plumbing connections are completed while the pool is simultaneously filled with water and backfilled around the shell with a irregular shaped washed stone. This balanced process helps maintain structural integrity and proper positioning.
The smooth, non-porous surface resists algae growth, reducing chemical usage and ongoing maintenance costs. That means less time cleaning and more time enjoying your pool
When you choose a fiberglass pool, you’re investing in a product built for long-lasting enjoyment—and that confidence comes backed by strong manufacturer warranties on the pool shell. Industry-Standard Warranty Coverage
Most fiberglass pool shells include a limited structural warranty that typically covers issues such as cracking, blistering, or significant water loss due to shell defects. On average, these warranties range from 10 to 25 years, depending on the manufacturer and model.
Surface Warranty Included
In addition to structural coverage, many manufacturers offer a surface finish warranty—often for 5 to 10 years—that protects against abnormal fading, staining, or surface breakdown under normal use and proper maintenance. Please refer to manufacturer for specific details on Pool Model you are looking at or send us an email and we will be happy to answer any questions you have.
